Piper PA28-180 OY-DHD with panel and virtual panel v1.2

The aircraft uses default FS2002 sounds.
What Ive basicly done is adding an interior part to the Piper Gmax project which is shipped with Gmax on the FS2002 CD as a tutorial. Then Ive made cockpit, virtual cockpit and new textures, which looks like the cockpit in OY-DHD. I got this idea after I had a flight lesson in this piper, so I took digital pictures of OY-DHD to get the FS version close the actual aircraft.
A some of the gauges and some switches could not be found among any of the installed FS aircrafts, so I made them myself. (apart from the suction and avionics gauges).
Install:
You need the Narco-gauges from narco.zip to display the avionics!!!
This includes the only gauge available for FS (i think) that simulates an combined NAV, RNAV DME and ILS-system. It is not 100% correct., OY-DHD has the King KNS 80 nav system installed, not the NARCO NS800.
The file NARCO.ZIP can be downloaded from http://www.dnauk.co.uk/g-bkbn.htm or. www.SurClaro
-If you register these gauges, you will get a working RNAV system!!!
-Unzip in your /aircrafts- folder (enable use folder-option)
-Move
suction.gau,
piperPA28.cab
and the gauges from NARCO.ZIP
to your FS2002/gauges/folder.
-Copy the content of your
pa28_180/texture -folder to the
PiperPA28OYDHD/texture -folder
DO NOT OVERWRITE pa28_180_t.bmp !!!!
DONE. Go fly. See instructions below:
USAGE:
This plane is only certified for VFR flying !!!
(therefore it doesnt have strobe lights). No autopilot either
- The yoke can be shown/hidden by pressing SHIFT + 2
- The co-pilots panel can be shown/hidden by clicking the icon (avionics logo) or pressing SHIFT + 3
- The throttle panel can be shown/hidden by clicking the icon or pressing SHIFT + 4
- The magnetic compass can be shown/hidden by clicking the icon or pressing SHIFT + 5
- Ckecklist will be displayed by pressing F10
To start the engine:
Follow the checklist, these steps are of particular importence:
-Make sure the Magnetos are set to LEFT (1)
-Check FUEL PUMP on (2)
-Open the throttle panel (3) and set mixture to RICH Open the throttle about 1.5 cm.
-Give 3-5 strokes of primer and start. (4) IMMIDIATLY after the engine starts, set MAGS to BOTH. (1)
So, now we just need some usable VFR scenery for Denmark This will be my next project.
